This is a fabulous Malaysia style doughnut using sweet potato and flour. It involves quite a lot of preparation but the result, as you can see, is very good. If you are a big fan of sweet potato then you must try this recipe. The crusty sugar coating makes it look and taste scrumptious!
This is a Malaysian street food delight and one of my personal favourites. Beautiful flat rice noodles stir fried with dark soy sauce, prawns and cockles, a dish I can happily eat anytime of the day.
This dish is the pride of Malaysia. Our Hari Raya (the Muslim festival of Eid) is celebrated with rendang served with lemang (glutinous rice and coconut milk grilled in cut bamboo). It is a time-consuming dish as it involves long simmering, but the result is outstanding. It's heavily infused with lemongrass and rich in a lot simpler – especially with my 'secret' method of doing kerisik (roasted coconut) which gives rendang its unique taste sensation!
